Mooney Caravan Squadrons
Our regional Squadrons are the backbone of the Mooney Caravan. Every squadron is made up of Mooney enthusiasts: people like you, who love to fly and love to get connected. Every squadron has a lead who knows the caravan, organizes activities, and – most importantly – is dedicated to fostering a thriving community of like-minded aviators.
Each of our squadrons host an annual formation practice clinic. These clinics are an opportunity to hone your formation skills in advance of the Mooney Caravan to Oshkosh, fly with experienced formation pilots, and kick back over dinner to talk aviation. Our regional clinics are
required to demonstrate proficiency prior to attending the
Mooney Caravan, but even if you're not planning to go to Oshkosh, they're a great way to make lasting friendships with other formation pilots.
These clinics aren't the only thing we do. Our squadrons keep our community together and thriving by hosting additional events (get-togethers, advanced clinics) and by keeping members connected online.
Our principles are:
- We welcome all Mooney pilots to join their local squadron. Find yours on the map and get in touch with the squadron lead!
- Our squadrons are communities of respect and camaraderie. Aviation is a tight-knit community and Mooney pilots even tighter, so we stay focused on having great flying experiences together.
- Our squadrons thrive on interaction. Get connected and start a conversation! Your squadron lead can facilitate events, but anyone can get started to introduce themselves or talk about the community.
